After months of anticipation and countless leaks, Meizu – the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has made the Meizu M6 Smartphone official. The newly arrived smartphone is not exactly a high-end smartphone, this is the company’s budget offerings for those of you who are looking for a solid phone, and are not planning to break the bank in order to buy.
Let us see what the new mid-range smartphone has to offer. But before we dive into the nitty-gritty of the specs, we need to talk about the most unique feature of the Meizu M6 smartphone – a 13MP rear sensor and Android 7.0 Nougat OS.
The smartphone features a 5.2 inches Full HD capacitive touchscreen display and runs on the seventh generation Android 7.0 Nougat operating system with Flyme 6.0 UI out of the box, as I mentioned earlier. The phone is powered by the MediaTek MT6750 octa core processor, which is having a clock frequency of 1.5 GHz.
The Meizu M6 comes in two storage variants: either a 2GB of RAM plus 16GB of built-in storage or a 3GB of RAM along with 32GB of internal storage capacity. If you need more space to store your data, music, files, and more; so you can put a microSD card for storage expansion.
As far as the camera is concerned, the smartphone sports a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash support. While on the front, there is an 8 megapixel front facing shooter for taking selfies and making video calls. There is also a fingerprint sensor embedded on Home button for added security, which will unlock your device in just 0.2 seconds.
Under the hood, there is a 3,070 mAh non-removable battery buried inside the phone, which will provide you enough juice. The phone is available in various color options, including include Moonlight Silver, Champagne Gold, Matte Black, and Electric Light Blue. In terms of price, the smartphone is available to pre-order with a price tag of CNY 699 (roughly $105) and it will begin shipping on September 25.
