At its Zenvolution press conference in Taiwan, Asus unveils two Designo monitors during Computex 2016 along with the ZenFone 3, and they simply look amazing. The two screens in question are the 27-inch Designo MX27UC and the 34-inch Designo Curve MX34VQ — yep, the names are a dead giveaway for their sizes.

Without any further ado, here’s what the upcoming monitors have in store.

Designo MX27UC monitor features an rameless and elegant design, gorgeous display and a built-in wireless charging pad. It is a stunning addition to any home or office workspace.

The monitor also offers an 16:9 aspect ratio that should provide more immersive and realistic images, with a frameless design that lets the monitor and the background just fade together.

The new Designo MX27UC is the smaller sibling in the lineup, sporting a 27-inch IPS panel. It provides a 3,840 x 2,160 resolution, handling 100 percent of the sRGB color space.

For the audio side of things, it is fitted with two 3-watt Bang & Olufsen speakers to provide clear sound. That’s not what makes the monitor stand out, while, because what makes it distinct is the USB 3.1 Type-C port it comes with. Through it, users can flip switch on the DisplayPort Alternate mode and get power delivery that a Type-C port can offer. Needless to say, it can transfer data too.

For now, these are all the details we have on these two monitors. We’ll try to gather more info when we hit the show floor at Computex in the coming days.
