The 2017 GMC Terrain Nightfall Edition was launched ahead of its introduction at the 2016 New York Auto Show. This special edition will feature a full blacked-out exterior upgraded and can join a number of other special variations in the line of GMC. This great vehicle should be available across Canada and North America in fall 2016.
This new Terrain will sporting 18-inch wheels, revised front and rear fascias, and a slightly different grille and black surround, and assorted blacked-out trim — in simple words, mostly exterior alterations. All are done in black, of course, as are the luggage rails, the mirrors, and even the license-plate surround. You can option for the Nightfall in gray, white, or red to provide more of a contrast along with the darkened trim pieces, but black is also offered for the full murdered-out look.
Aside from paint and wheels, the Nightfall Edition Terrain sports the similar features as the base model Terrain. Under the hood is a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine making 182 horsepower and 172 pounds-feet of torque. A 301-horsepower, 272-pound-feet 3.6-liter V6 is accessible.
The 2017 GMC Terrain Nightfall Edition has a stylized special version combining blacked-out wheels and outside details, along with popular technologies including IntelliLink with accessible Wi-Fi hotspot and 4G LTE connectivity. A 7-inch diagonal color touchscreen comes standard on the SLE-2 and also SLT versions.
GMC has not yet shared how much you’ll have to pay for this slightly more sinister Terrain, but we do know that Nightfall Edition will be offered only on SLE-2 and SLT trim levels. Both come standard with a 2.4-liter 4-cylinder that should be avoided; the 3.6-liter V-6 that is offered for $1500 extra tugs around Terrain 4000-plus pounds with much more authority, day or night.
